Exercises for Workout Planners

Barbell Deadlift

This exercise works the body parts of:

* hamstrings

Instructions:

Start with your feet roughly hip width apart and a bar just in front of your shins. Bend your knees and hinge at the hips, keeping your back flat and core engaged, until you can grab the bar in both hands. Slowly extend both your knees and hips (knees slightly before your hips, so the bar can get past your knees easier), keeping the bar close to your body as you stand up straight. Slowly hinge your hips to start lowering the bar, bending your knees once the bar is past them to gently lower the weight back to the floor



We recommend you begin with very light weights and low reps and increase the weights and reps as per your personal fitness level.
